at last, the DR650 engine is hanging on my self welded crane
closing stuff back to the correct (by the book manual) torque
crane main axis galvanized double seams
placing the spline back into crankshaft (actually- I do not remember what for..)
curb lights bolt used as a hook
a better way to pry the spline out, with a pair of sharp carpinters pliers
Eli put back the chain tensioner spring (the one that presses the palstic tensioner into the chain)
tightening the chain tensioner before another fault engine start test
the magneto dislodged
applying blue bolt addhesive before lodging the bolts back in place
before starting do not forget to manualy oil the upper parts because it takes some seconds until
the oil pump builds the pressure needed be lift oil up there
spreading the started clutch from the magneto for replacement
these starter torque limiter belong to my spare parts from now on
this is side view of the engine without magneto installed
starter torque limiter after "bad service"
head cover assembly before testing
to dislodge these elen bolts I used the help of Elis electric force wrench
the camshaft with the pin, neither me nor the guy helped me knew where this tiny pin belonged after comming back
from refurbishment
any way to fix this part failed and I did not take the chance it breaks under pressure
inside my engine
putting grease on the needle bearing before assembling the magneto
